DANS LE JARDIN ANNE FRANK

DANS LE JARDIN ANNE FRANK

Just behind our building, situated in a courtyard that also joins the Museum of Jewish Art and History, is a lovely garden, dedicated to the memory of Anne Frank. In this season the climbing roses encircle the sunny center area, and further beyond is a playground filled with the laughter and general noise of young children innocently playing. Mingled with the sound of birds, it’s a peaceful daily stop for many. Below, I’ve shown the tree grafted from the very chestnut tree that Anne Frank wrote of so lovingly in her unforgettable Diary. Just another remembrance, after yesterday’s celebrations of the signatures marking the end of World War II.
