This little teapot was discovered at a rummage sale, for only a couple of euros, and brings me joy. But it didn’t have matching teacups and saucers. For months I have had my eye open for elements to harmonize with the nature motif (reminding me of the rows of my Dad’s sweetcorn stalks back home). So I just found these cups at the BHV, imported from Portugal. The yummy little fresh clementines are from Corsica, and the nutty cookies, well they’re gone now!
Although I am afraid I outgrew long ago the ghoulish holiday being dragged out again today, I’ll offer to add this bit of festive color to the celebration!
