When you feel as if, for a moment, the planets coincide favorably. Perfectly by chance, last night during an evening walk in the unusual 80° weather, Jacques said to me “Don’t move, stay there.” This shot has taken on its own life, and is full of special meaning for me. In the background, left, is the Conciergerie where I gave my first concert here in 1979, the wonderful cantata for bass Ich habe Genug by Bach. But this is really about looking to the future, with gratitude and just a bit of acquired insight.
