JULES ADLER AT THE JEWISH MUSEUM IN PARIS

The Faubourg St-Denis, Morning, 1895

The neighborhood shown here is just steps from home. Today I saw a very moving and well-organized exhibition consecrating the life and artwork of Jules Adler 1865-1952. A prominent Jewish painter who shared Emile Zola’s view of society, defending common people and a true friend of the working class.
